A Graveside Celebration for Adrienne Sam will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020, 11:00 AM at Perpetual Park Cemetery, Franklin, LA with Pastor Rickey Simmons officiating. (Mask are required)
Visitation will be Friday, August 7, 2020, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at MK Dixon Funeral Home. (Mask are required)
Adrienne Sam was born on June 23, 1974 in Lafayette, LA to Alfred Sam and Linda Lee Johnson Sam. She accepted Christ and was Baptist at an early age
under the Leadership of the late Bishop Marshal Hebert. She was a member of Holding Forth the World of Life of Franklin, LA under the leadership of Pastor Rickey Simmons.
She attended Franklin Senior High School. She was employed as a Personal Care Attendant with Premier Community Services. She was a joyful, fun and loving individual. There was never a moment when she didn't have a smile on her face. She was an avid football fan, always cheering for the Saints. She had a great sense of humor, spreading joy and laughter to everyone she came in contact with. Adrienne loved her family and was always ready for a family gathering. She would be the first to volunteer to bring the soda and water as her contribution.
Adrienne was always ready and willing to travel. She will never be forgotten by her relatives and friends who she would call to "Run" her to the store quite often. Adrienne displayed self-love daily by always including a photo of herself in her inspirational post on Facebook. She was known by many from far and near for her positivity and encouragement.
On Monday, July 27th, Adrienne transitioned to eternal rest, she will forever remain in the hearts of her children: one daughter; Rushai McGuire of Franklin, LA; one son; Diantre Sam, of Franklin, LA; her mother, Evangelist Linda Sam of Franklin, LA; her father, Alfred (Ursula) Sam, Sr. of Sorrel, LA; one sister; Anette Sam (Terrance) of Franklin, LA; three brothers; Alfred ( Alexandria) Sam, Jr. of Hinesville, GA; Anthony Sam of Franklin, LA; and Asa Sam (LaShana) of Jeanerette, LA; one niece, A'Nyaa Howard and three nephews, CriTrevione Howard, Cri Trvione Howard and Tyrese Sam. A host of Aunts, Uncles, Relatives and Friends.
She was preceded in death by Grandmother, Grandfather, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
