A Memorial Service will be held for Alaina Stanton on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 1:30 P.M. at United Christian Faith Ministries in Baton Rouge, LA. Mask will be required.
Our Precious Angel was born on September 26, 1995 to her very proud parents, Jeffrey and Avis Stanton. She put on her wings Saturday, July 23 rd at her home surrounded by her parents and her brother.
Her Life…
Alaina was a faithful follower of Christ and a member of United Christian Faith Ministries for twelve years. She was baptized in 2010 by her beloved Pastor, Mark Ellis.
Some of her servant assignments at her church included, Bible Study teacher, Greeter, MAE Director, Handmaiden, and Bookstore Director.
Alaina had a quiet but powerful spirit, but when it came to sharing the Gospel, she talked and talked and….talked.
We discovered Alaina's intense wisdom at the early age of eight. Due to her analytical personality, her broad view of life and its daily struggles went far beyond her years. In her mom's opinion and hers, she was a miss know-it-all.
Her Godly wisdom continued to grow and develop. She remained focused and true to her Heavenly Father, choosing not to be distracted, delayed, or defeated by the interference of circumstances or peer pressure.
Her Education…
Alaina Graduated with honors from Dutchtown High School in 2013 with a 4.36 GPA which put her in the top 5% of her class. She graduated from Louisiana State University in 2016, receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in three short years. She obtained her Master of Business Administration Degree from Fayetteville State University in 2021.
Her Passions…
One of her great passions was mentoring young kids. She spent countless hours studying the Word, preparing lessons, and having one-on-one sessions with many young mentees.
She also had a profound love for animals. If she would have been allowed to have five dogs and three cats in our home that would have immensely pleased her. She did not like animals to be mistreated or even spoken harshly too. If she saw a stray dog or cat, she wanted to take it home and take care of it.
Her Employment…
She was employed at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana for a little over three years, but due to illness, she resigned in 2021.
Her Memory…
Her forever honored parents Jeffrey and Avis Stanton, her loving big brother Jamon, her sister Ashayla, her grandmother Willie Mae Thomas, her godmother Vernell Mitchell, her god daughter Grace, extended family and host of friends will forever cherish her memories.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ephram and Louise Mitchell (Jeanerette, La.), and paternal grandfather, James Stanton, (Sorrel, La.)
