A Celebration of Life for Albert Lively, will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM at First Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette, La.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at First Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette, La.
Albert will be interred at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette, La.
Mr. Albert Lively, a native and resident of Jeanerette, La. He was the son of Jessie Lee Williams and the late Jessie Mae Lively Williams. He departed this life on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
He was a faithful member of First Jerusalem Baptist Church. He attended Jeanerette Sr. High school. He was employed by Belleview Dairy Farm, owned by Albert Landry, Jr. Also, he worked for Fabian LeMire, Frank Miniville of Jeanerette.
Albert found peace and enjoyment in gardening with his Dad, horseback riding, and fishing. He also took pride in cooking for his grandkids. Although Albert was the fifth child, he was spoiled by his siblings as if he was the last born.
Albert leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Jessie Lee Williams; six sisters, Sandra Lively, of Coteau, La, Nedia L. Williams, Jessie (Creig) Eugene, Evelyn L. Sutton, Janice (Kevin) Lively, Melissa (Lionel) Roberts, all of Jeanerette, La; one brother, Carl Wayne Lively of New Iberia, La; wife, Judy Lively; three step daughters, Shamika (Jason) Raymond of Carencro, La, Shanreca (Dimone) Williams of Jeanerette, La, Shanquilla (Alex) Williams of Dallas, TX; five aunts, Bernice Sam, Annie D. Linton, Stephanie D. Paul, Annie Mae Lively, Dorothy Lively; one uncle, Nelson DeJean; four godchildren, Jasey Roy of Fortworth, TX, Jalishia Thomas of Jeanerette, La, Henry Proctor of Houston, TX, Golden George of New Iberia,La; host of 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother; one brother, Alvin Lively; maternal grandparents, Agnes and Lucus Lively; paternal grandparents, Vivian and Loriska DeJean, Sr.; one grandson, Kendal Thompson; one granddaughter, Ja’hair Raymond; three nephews, Alvin Shawn Lively, Kendrick Lively, Alvin Davis, Jr.; host of family and friends.
Albert was loved by everyone he encountered.
