Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 22, 2019, 11:00 AM at Special Providence Baptist Church, Baldwin, LA. Rev. Samuel Wise will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 22, 2019, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at Special Providence Baptist Church.

Andrew Bowser, "Lukie," was in many organizations such as NAACP, Police Association, Masonic Lodges, McDermott Retiree Organization, Boy Scout Leader, Magnolia Peace Officer Association, and Alderman for the Town of Baldwin. He was a boxer, Security/Bouncer for various night clubs throughout St. Mary Parish. He was a supervisor/pipefitter at McDermott for over 24 years, supervisor at Sugarmill Refinery, Leader, Poker Plant and Honoree at Black History Achiever.

Andrew Louis "Lukie" Bowser, 77, a resident of Franklin, LA and native of Baldwin, LA, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 at his home surrounded by family and friends.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Carol Cage-Bowser, Franklin, LA, daughters; CherMary Castle (Brandon) of Houma, LA, June B Davis (Jeffrey), Houston, TX, Cuzette Polite (Barry), League City, TX, sons; Andrus "Andy" Bowser, Franklin, LA, Aaron "Beedee" Bowser, Franklin, LA, Andrew "Pop" Bowser, Baton Rouge, LA, Byron "B.B." Francis, St. Joseph Community of Franklin, LA, 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, two brothers, Harold Bowser (Linda), Macon GA, Gregory Bowser (Adrienne), Baton Rouge, LA; four sisters, Cardell B Ina, Baldwin, LA, Gwendolyn Maneaux, Baldwin, LA,Carolyn Bowser, Baldwin, LA, Mary Wiltz (Harold), Lafayette, LA, devoted God Children, Sandra Declouet, Justin Riles, and Chris Tillman.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry P Bowser, parents Samuel and Esther Jones Bowser, son Jerry Paul Bowser, his sisters, Margaret B Declouet, Lola Mae Logerman, Marian B. Godfrey; brothers, Samuel Bowser, Jr., Lawrence Bowser, Daniel Bowser, Lionel Bowser; nephews, Chad and Donald Maneaux; Godchild/niece, Crystal L Bowser, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
