A Celebration of Life for Anthony "Kut" Williams, Sr., will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, 11:00 AM at First Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette, LA.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, until the commencement of the celebration at First Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette, LA.
Anthony will be interred at Holy Family Mausoleum in New Iberia, LA.
Anthony "KUT" Williams, Sr.,78, was born to the union of the late Leroy Williams and Loretta Williams on June 26, 1947, in Lafayette, LA.
God in his infinite wisdom on July 24, 2025, called a precious soul home. He earned his wings after dealing with a sudden decline in health. He was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
He attended Franklin Senior High School. Anthony was employed by Teche Electric Co-op, Shell Oil Company (Retired), UPS Driver, and Iberia Parish School as a bus driver (Retired). He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Jeanerette, LA. He served his country in the United States Army earning the rank of Sergeant. During his service he deployed to the Vietnam War. Sergeant Williams earned a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal. Anthony was also a dedicated and faithful member of the Down South Riders Mc Club, the VFW Post 1982 of Jeanerette,LA, and a Mason.
He was an outstanding father to his children and a phenomenal grandfather to his grandchildren. He was a man of few words, that loved the Lord, loved family, always pushing for unity, joy and peace. Anthony Williams and Mary Hawk Williams were united in holy matrimony for 55 years of enduring love.
He is now rejoicing in Heaven with his parents; Leroy and Loretta Williams; wife, Mary Elizabeth Hawk Williams; sisters, Tomy "Toni" Williams and Marva Williams; brothers, Harold Williams and Ronald Williams; sons, Anthony "Spamp" Williams, Jr. Wayne Eugene, Sr., and Sandis Boo Eugene.
When he heard a heavenly voice calling him to receive his crown, he left to cherish his loving memories; three daughters, Marva (Kurt) Bouie, Sr. of Leesville, LA, Tearsa (Kerry) Clavelle of New Iberia, LA, and Kia (Thomas) Colbert of Katy, TX; four sons, Courtney (Faye) Williams of Houston, TX, Whitney (Barbara)Eugene of Abbeville, LA, Kelvin (Laqueda) Eugene, Sr. of Lafayette, LA, Creig (Jessie) Eugene, Sr. of Jeanerette, LA; 39 grandchildren; two godchildren, Twana Hawk-Clay and Danna Danielle Dupree; host of great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to whom he shared a unique bond.
