A Memorial Service will be held for Arthur " Big Eye" Lewis on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA. Mask will be required.

The family will begin receiving attendees on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Arthur Lewis was born August 12, 1968, to the late Vernell "Lottie" Jackson-Lewis and Edward "Pipeman" Lewis in Ashton, LA.

Arthur "Big Eye" as he was affectionately called, was a quiet, young man who spoke softly and smiled often. He was a life long resident of Four Corners, LA.

Arthur departed this life on Friday, April 22, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Edward Lewis, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Louada Jackson and Frank Jackson; paternal grandparents, Ella Lewis Jones and Jessie Brown, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his daughter, Valentino Alfred Alexander; three grandchildren, Derrick Alexander, Jr., Evan Alexander, and Aubrey Alexander; one sister, Rosalind Ann Lewis; four brothers, Gregory Lewis, Christian Charles, Jonathan Charles, and Baron Charles. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who realize earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to MK Dixon Funeral Home, 337-940-9253, 211 Main Street, Baldwin, LA 70514.
