A Celebration of Life for Barry Hart, will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at MK Dixon Funeral Home.

Visitation will resume on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Barry Charles Hart 62, of Lafayette, La. passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at his residence.

Barry was born on October 30, 1962; to the union of the  late Ray Charles and Emily Stevenson-Hart.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age.

Barry graduated from Franklin Senior High, and went on to get a degree from the University of Lafayette, in Business Administration. Immediately  moving to Houston, Tx., where he obtained a job as a General Manager of Marketing & Sales. Barry remained a resident of Texas throughout his life for many years, before moving back to Louisiana in 2020.

Barry was full of love, laughter and kindness and he touched the lives of all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories, (2) sisters- Loretta Hart of New Iberia, La; Lisa Hall of Morgan City, La; (1) brother -Michael (Tracy) Givens of Sioux City, Iowa; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles Ray Hart, Emily Stevenson-Hart;  sister, Rita Hart; maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
