Funeral Services for Barry "Bolo" Persilver will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2016, 3:00 PM, MK DIXON Funeral Home, 211 Main Street, Baldwin, LA. Bro. Bobby Hodnett will conduct the service.
He will be interred in the Chitimacha Mausoleum on the Chitimacha Tribe of LA Reservation.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016, 11:00 AM until the time of service at MK DIXON Funeral Home.
Barry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved his wife and soulmate of 40 years.He loved hunting,fishing and going to the camp. He loved telling stories and jokes.He loved his two dogs; Sissy and Sassy. He will be be deeply missed.
Cherishing wonderful memories is his wife Julie Bernard Persilver, Charenton, LA, one daughter, Kashyra Persilver and her fiancé Jackie Lewis, Charenton, LA, two grandchildren, Lil Barry and Rashad, both of Charenton, LA, one brother, Roy Persilver and his wife Margie, Mississippi, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Barry was preceded in death by his father, Leo Persilver, Sr.; mother, Nelly Persilver; three sisters, Berdie Mae Johnson, Verda Hebert, Gertie Bailey; and two brothers, Leo Persilver, II, Russell Persilver.
