A Celebration of Life for Benjamin McDaniel, Jr., will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Greater St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, La.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at Greater St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, La.

Benjamin will be interred at Franklin Mausoleum in Franklin, La.

Benjamin McDaniel, Jr., a native and resident of St. Joseph, La. He was the son of Helen and Benjamin “Pa-Fisher” McDaniel, Sr. He departed this life on Monday, February 9, 2026.

He was a member of Greater St. Stephen Baptist Church in Oxford, La, under the leadership of Rev. Joseph Fields. He was employed by King’s Trucking Inc as a truck driver for 35 years. He was also known to be a “jack of all trades” throughout the Franklin & St. Joseph area.

Benjamin leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Kevin Thomas of Franklin, La; one daughter, Christie Connor of Ashton, La;  four brothers, Frederick (Lorraine) McDaniel, Ronald Ray McDaniel, Gregory McDaniel, all of Franklin, La, Donald (Tandrea) McDaniel of Youngsville, La; one sister, Carolyn (Bernie) Williams of New Iberia, La; one godchild, Alexis Peters (Anthony); 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; host of family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; host of other relatives.
