Berlinda Rhine-Jones

A Celebration of Life for Berlinda R. Jones, will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Moses Baptist Church in Jeanerette, LA.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. until the commencement of the celebration at St. Moses Baptist Church in Jeanerette, LA.

Berlinda will be interred at Sorrel Community Cemetery in Sorrel, LA.

Berlinda Rhine Jones, 69, a resident of Sorrel, Louisiana departed this earth on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at her home, surrounded by family.

Berlinda was born on November 6, 1954, to the union of Viola S.Rhine and the late Clarence Rhine, Sr.

She received her formal education in the St. Mary Parish School System.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Viola Rhine; children, Latarsha and Elric Charles; one bonus son, Michael Jackson; two grandchildren, Valencia, and Mylon Charles; three great grandchildren, Da'Mazin McNeal, Da' Legend Charles, and A'Miracle Francis; four sisters, Diane (Peter Sr.) Collins, Joyce Harris, Vanessa (Raymond) Clavelle, and Vera (Mark) Key; three brothers, Clarence (Bertha) Rhine, Jr., Donald Rhine, Sr., and Leonard (Valerie) Rhine,Sr.; three devoted friends, Donald Madison, Theresa Robertson, and Savtri Burrell; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Berlinda was preceded in death by her husbands, Michael Charles and Barry Jones; father; great grandson, Da'Khyrrian McNeal; four brothers, Danason Sr., Melvin Sr., David Sr., and James Rhine; one brother-in-law, Anthony Harris; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Ester Rhine; and paternal grandparents, George and Sadonia Shields.
