A Celebration of Life for Berwick "Bobby Kool" Rhine, Sr., will be held Friday, August 29, 2025, 1:00 PM at First Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette, LA.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, until the commencement of the celebration at First Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette, LA.
Berwick will be interred at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, in Jeanerette, LA.
Berwick "Bobby Kool" Rhine, Sr. peacefully transitioned from his earthly home on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on September 24, 1950, to the late Calvin Rhine, Sr. and Leola Keal Rhine, Bobby accepted Christ at an early age as his Lord and Savior. He was a devoted pipe welder and foreman for 42 years, working faithfully in a career he loved until his retirement.
Berwick was a loving, outgoing, and caring man whose presence touched the lives of everyone he encountered. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, he was truly adored by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his devoted wife of 20 years, Delana Shanna Robertson Rhine; eight daughters, Melissa (Jerry Lewis) Ash of New Iberia, LA, Aalijah Robertson, Aanajah Rhine, Aaisa Rhine, Aaishala Rhine, Beverly (Clifton) Grant all of Jeanerette, LA, Rosetta Levy of Houston, TX, and Danielle (Jaleesa) Jean Baptiste of Washington, DC; two bonus daughters, Keiontay Declouet and Zamirie Borel of Jeanerette, LA; four sons, DeMontrell Robertson, DeVontraz Robertson, DeAndre Rhine, and Delvontrae Rhine, all of Jeanerette, LA; a very dedicated, mother in law, Madelyn Robertson of Jeanerette, LA; godchildren, No'Saj Broussard and Zavian Charles of Jeanerette, LA; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-laws; brothers-in-laws; along with nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Berwick Rhine, Jr. and Ronald Levy; brother, Calvin Rhine, Jr.; sister, Mildred M. Jack; father-in-law, Charles Robertson, Jr.; and son-in-law, Scott Hanley Ash.
Bobby Kool's life was a testament of love, faith, and dedication, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
