A Celebration of Life for Betty Jolivette will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, La.

Visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2023, from 12:00 P.M. until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, La.

Betty will be interred at Sorrel Community Cemetery in Sorrel, La.

Betty Joyce Landry Jolivette, a residence of Four Corners, La. She was born on August 28, 1944 to the late Louis and Octavia Landry. She was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. Gilbert Jack. She attended St. John Baptist Church of Four Corners, La.

Betty was proceeded in death by her parents, Louis and Octavia Landry; her husband, Morman James Joilivette,Sr.; sons, Kenny Ray Jolivette and Morman James Jolivette, Jr.; siblings, Bertha, Martha, Lou Anna, Rose, Wallace, Oliver, Aaron, Joseph, Louis Jr., Vincent, and Harvey.

On February 27, 2023, Betty departed this life after a short illness.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her daughter, Linda Rena Jolivette of Mableton, GA; five sisters, Patricia Wilson, Lillian (Eugene) Harmon; Amy Randle, Alice Randle, and Doris (Robert) Hatcherson, all of Baldwin, La; two brothers, Patrick(Donna) Landry of Schriever, La, and Calvin Landry of Morgan City, La; six grandchildren, LaQuan(Charity) Bowie of Killeen, TX, Jontrell (Ashley) Bowie of Loreauville, La, Ashala Bowie of Four Corners, La, Breonne Bowie of Houston, TX, Jarvis Jolivette of Houston, TX, and Courtney Jolivette of Jeanerette, La; 19 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
