Calvin "Bubba" Burrell, Jr.

Calvin "Bubba or Big Worm" Burrell, was born May 2, 1967, to the late Calvin Burrell, Sr. and the late Dorine Ferguson Burrell in Lafayette, LA.

"Bubba or Big Worm" as he was affectionately called by family and friends. He was a native of Franklin, LA, and a resident of St. Joseph, LA. He graduated from Franklin Sr High School in 1985. He was baptized at the age of eight years old at Katie Plantation by Rev. C.E. Batiste and Rev. Carl F. Lewis. Calvin was a lover of cars and trucks with a fascination for Freddy Cougar themes through the years. During his early years he worked with his father at Burrell's Grocery, where he developed a love for the St. Joseph community. Calvin was a boss at heart and anything he did. He received certification in welding and fitting, as well as; played his trombone in a band with his friends. He had a gift of music and was involved with the church choir in his teenage years. He was able to meet the love of his life Tidnette Lee Burrell, they were married on October 28, 1995, and to their union they had three daughters. In his later years he loved being a father to his children and grandchildren. He did not mind lending a hand to help friends or family. He was an all- around country boy, who enjoyed family cookouts.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his devoted wife; Tidnette Burrell of Franklin, LA; two sisters; Cassandra Burrell, and Elana (Eddie) Stackhouse both of Bakertown, LA.; one brother; Troy Williams of Sioux City, IA; twelve children; Latoya(Montreal) Span, Sr., Calvin( Lynell) Henry both of Patterson, LA; Keoshi Henry of Berwick, LA; Tahj(Ka'Iris) Guilbeau of St. Martinsville, LA; Titus Guilbeaux of Franklin, LA; Thaiim Guilbeau of Lafayette, LA; Quandrick (Amber) Burrell of New Iberia, LA; KaShayla Burrell of Pearland, Tx; Tyler Guilbeau of Franklin, LA; Kasyira Burrell of Thibodaux, LA; A'zhairi Joseph of Pearland, Tx; A'nhaiya Joseph of New Orleans, LA; his father and mother-in-law; Henry Lee and Julia Lee of Franklin, LA; one adopted son; Tashib Guilbeau of Franklin, LA; one adopted daughter; Ti'Jiria Gilbeau of Grambling, LA; two sisters-in-law; Helen (Brian) Roberson, and Julia (Blaine) Golden; two devoted friends; Renold Hawkins Sr., and Frank Verrett; one God brother; Chris Hines. five Godchildren; Wesley Lamb, Jr., Jada Jack, Corey Deluane, Landon Bias, and Lashawn Jones; sixteen grandchildren, six aunts, three uncles, five nephews, ten nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is proceeded in death by both parents; Calvin Burrell Sr., and Dorine Ferguson Burrell, one daughter; Charisma Burrell, twelve uncles, twelve aunts, and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
