A Graveside Celebration of Life for Carlton Burrell will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at Greater New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Baldwin, LA. Mask will be required.

Bro. Carlton Earl Burrell was born to the late Rev. Harry and Mable Boutte Burrell on April 18, 1958 in Franklin, La. He was reared at Katy Plantation and grew up in a christian home. He was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. C.E. Baptiste at Mt. Zion Church of Katy.
Carlton graduated from Franklin Senior High school in 1977 and went to work with the City of Franklin until his disability.
Carlton leaves his memories to his son, Jazma Elzy of Houston, TX; two devoted nieces, Chontel Morgan Lee and Chontrell Favors both of Franklin, La; two sisters, Mable Jean Burrell of Houston, TX, and Laura Burrell of Orlando, FL; five brothers, George Burrell (Isabella) of Bossier City, La, David Burrell of Houston, TX, James Burrell and Freddie Burrell both of Baldwin, La, and Alvin (Sandra) Burrell of Franklin, La; four sisters-in- law, Viola Burrell and Barbra Burrell of Baldwin, La, Marolyn Edwards and Hattie Johnson Burrell of Franklin,La; one great uncle, Roland Boutte of Abbeville, La, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Carlton was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Norma Burrell Morgan; five brothers, Harold Edwards, Lee Harold (JC) Burrell, Horace (Lacy) Burrell, Morris Burrell, and Robert Charles Burrell; one brother- in-law, Charles Morgan, Sr.; five sisters-in- law, Rosamary Burrell, Charlene Burrell, Vivian Burrell, Lawanda Burrell, and Cindy Thomas, and a host of other family members and friends.
