Carlwayne Loston

A Celebration of Life for Carlwayne Loston will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022, 11:00 AM at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev Arnold Ray Joseph officiating.

Viewing will be Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at Macedonia Baptist Church.

He will be interred in St. John Baptist Church Cemetery, Four Corners, LA.

Mr. Carlwayne "Drac" Loston was born August 24, 1969 in New Iberia, Louisiana to the late Margueritte and Raymond Loston Sr. Carlwayne was a well-known member of the Four Corners community.

In 2012 he moved to Katy, Texas. There he joined the Texas Family LCRC. Where he was touched and inspired for over ten years. Carlwayne was a very dedicated worker at Heavy Weight. As a result of his generous spirit and pleasant personality, he was loved by many.

It is known that our Lord God never makes mistakes and in His infinite wisdom deemed it timely on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, to call His son to eternal rest. Carlwayne's departure leaves a deep and personal loss to all who loved him and who were blessed to share precious moments in his life. Although he will sorrowfully be missed, there is peace in knowing that we can confidently say, to be absent from the body is to be present with our Lord.

His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his daughter; Deshria Jospeh; grandson, Derwin Lightfoot Jr.; a special friend Stephanie Broussard; brothers, Donald Ray, Gerald Sr., David Whitney, Freddie, and Joseph; adopted brother, John Connors; sisters, Marva, Kimberly, Sara, and Connie; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Margueritte and Raymond Loston Sr.; brothers, Raymond Jr., Warren James, and Ronald Ray Loston; sister, Joyce Ann Loston; adopted sister, Dianne Collins.
