A Celebration of Life for Carolyn "T-Cal" Johnson will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, La.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 8:00 A.M. until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, La.

Carolyn will be interred at Ibert's Cemetery in Patterson, La.

In the Spring of her life Carolyn Antoinette Johnson was born July 3, 1955, in Franklin, La to the late Lucille Johnson-Conley and Larry Conley. She was a faithful member of Zion Chapel AME Church of Patterson, La under the leadership of Pastor Richelle Lewis Castine where she served as President of the Missionary.

In the summer of her life Carolyn attended Patterson High School. She began her professional career as the owner C &C Daycare in Patterson, La. "T-Cal" as she was affectionately known to many babysat many kids in the neighborhood while rearing her prized possession, her baby girl, Alaina.

In the fall of her life Carolyn started T-Cal's snowballs and more, a snack shop that served the neighborhood with lots of love. T-Cal's doors were always open. You could stop in at any time and find her cooking one of her many delicious meals. She also loved baking. T-Cal's most loving and favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandson, Dylan, the apple of her and Alaina's eye.

In the winter of Carolyn's life on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, during the early morning hours, surrounded by family and loved ones, God called T-Cal from her earthly labor to her heavenly home.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her beautiful daughter, Alaina Claire Johnson of Patterson, La; grandson, Dylan Lee Johnson of Patterson,La; two sisters, Sandra (Anthony) Lightfoot and Lillian (Dana) Martin, Sr. both of Patterson, La; one brother, David Jackson of Palmdale, CA; godson, Gilbert Johnson of Walker, La; one uncle, Wardell Johnson, Sr. of Patterson, La; one bonus son, Herbert Johnson II of Morgan City, La; one bonus daughter, Michelle Schexnayder; nephews, Renaldo Francis of Patterson, La and Dana Martin, Jr. of Dallas, TX; nieces, Robyn Francis of Humble TX, and Loreal Conley of Patterson, La; one great niece, Brielle Martin of Dallas, TX; one great nephew, Rhydar Makai Francis of Humble, TX; devoted friend Allison Mcknight Paul.

She was proceeded in death by her mother and father, Lucille and Larry Conley; aunts, Teresa Johnson Henry and Evelina Johnson Chapman; uncle, Holden Johnson; paternal grandmother, Lillian McFall; maternal grandmother, Mary Lee Tate Johnson; devoted friends, Rose Ann Lipari and Jacqueline McKnight.
