A Mass of Christian Burial for Cedric Demouchet, Jr. will be Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Jeanerette, La.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 8:00 A.M.-9:30 A.M.  Tributes, Expressions, and Reading of the Obituary at 10:00 A.M. Recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Jeanerette, La.

Cedric will be interred at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Jeanerette, La.

Cedric James Demochet, Jr.  was born on January 27, 1992, to Cedric Demouchet Sr. and Charlene Miller Provost. He was affectionately known to family and friends as "CJ," "Ceddy P," "Ceddy Pendegrass," and his mother adoringly called him "Big Baby CJ." Cedric was a beloved son, grandson, a special brother, fun-loving cousin and a high-spirited yet easy-going friend. Cedric was loved by everyone he encountered. He always enjoyed lending a helping hand whenever he could. His affectionate hugs and smile were contagious and would soothe any bad day.

Cedric will be sorrowfully missed by his parents, Cedric Demouchet, Sr. and Charlene Miller Provost; sisters, Kreshonda (Javon, Sr.) Robertson, Amya Provost, and Ashley Sophus; brother, Trey Demouchet (Ashley Moore); nieces and nephews, D'Mahree, Christionne, Kailee, Javon Jr., great nephew Chosen, great aunt, Rose "Wop" Lewis a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph Miller and Joyce Frederick Miller; paternal grandparents, Earnest Demouchet and Mary "Tiny" Simon Demouchet; first cousins, Doinelle Miller, Jamilla Prince, and great aunt, Gloria Castille.
