A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Celeste Marie Jack, at 6:00 PM, Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Ashton, LA.
Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2018, from 4:00 PM until commencement of the funeral service.
Celeste Marie Jack was born on
October 22
. 1957, to the late Gilbert Jack and Mamie Maude Smith-Jack. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Geraldine Jack Colbert Manuel.
As a child, Celeste - affectionately known as "Cel" or " Nauchy " - grew up in Ashton and received her education in the St. Mary Parish public school system. She was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church by the late Rev. Walter Richard and was known as a multi-talented seamstress, hair stylist, songstress and avid walker.
At 1:02 p.m. on the afternoon of March 15, 2018, Celeste answered the final call on her life and peacefully transitioned from this life.
She leaves to celebrate her life and legacy four daughters: Natasha Jack of New Orleans, LA., Natrelle Jack (Nykelsha) of Dallas, TX., Ne Keisha Jack and Nekima Jack of Ashton; a brother, Paulfrey Jack (Constance) of Franklin, LA.; eight grandchildren: Giordan Jack, T'jyia Jack, Robbie Celestine, Nadia Celestine, Tamar Butts, Tyshon Jackon, T'nya Jack and Jhabari Jack; one great granddaughter: Kinsley Paige Matthews; a devoted friend, Clifton Tardy; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
