A Mass of Christian Burial for Charles "Boss Hog" Loston willl be held Saturday March 4, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter Apostle Catholic Church, Four Corners, LA
Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, from 9:00 A.M. until the commencement of the mass at St. Peter Apostle Catholic Church in Four Corners, LA.
Mr. Charles "Boss Hog" Loston will be interred at Sorrel Community Cemetery in Sorrel, LA.
Charles Aloysius Loston was born on April 21, 1954, to the union of the late Rene Loston Sr. and Lena Lockett Loston in Four Corners, LA. Charles, who responded to the nicknames of "Shorty" and "Boss Hog" accepted Christ at an early age at St. Peter Apostle Catholic Church in Four Corners, LA. Charles attended St. Mary Parish school in Franklin, Louisiana, until he entered the United States Marine few years later, he was honorably discharged from the Marines. He was a welder at McDermott shipyard for several years. Later, he became disable and was not able to work in his favorite profession as a welder. He later began helping others to do minor repairs in his community of Parks, LA. He helped at St. Louis Catholic Church in Parks, LA with many different repair projects.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories with his devoted wife Theresa Henry of Parks, LA. His five children, Le Guya M. Brown, MBA of Franklin, LA, Kentrell Loston of New Iberia, LA, Jalesa Hurst of Baldwin, LA, Darion Hurst of New Orleans, LA, and Jaqalin Henry of Parks, LA. Two sisters Lillie Mae (Manuel) Lumpkin of Four Corners, LA, and Delores Loston of St. Martinville, LA. Four brothers Lawrence (Otharee) Loston of New Iberia, LA, Clarence (Pat) Loston of New Iberia, LA, Jules Loston of Four Corners, LA and Allen (Faynell) Loston of New Iberia, LA. Twelve grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who accept that his departure is heaven's gain. To his best friends, Eric Metz, the late Calvin Wiltz, Early Bernard, Lawrence Narcisse, and Alton Ambroise. Also, to his playing cards friends of Parks, LA and St. Martinville, LA. To his children he wanted you all to know he loved each one of you!
Charles was preceded in death by his father Rene Loston Sr., his mother Lena Lockett Loston, two grandchildren, and one brother Rene Loston Jr.
