A Celebration of Life for Charlotte Sophus-Jack, will be held Friday, March 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Visitation will be Friday, March 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Charlotte Renee Sophus- Jack, was born on September 19, 1972, to Joann Lewis Sophus and the late Roland Lynn Sophus. She departed her life on March 12, 2025, due to a long-term illness. Charlotte accepted Christ at an early age.

Charlotte leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Rodney Jack, Sr. of 28 years; mother, Joann Lewis; daughters, Nakia Gabrielle Sophus Keys (Michael) of New York, Ronea Jack (Jusean) of Lake Charles, LA; sons, Rodney Jack, Jr. of New Iberia, LA, Jynsen Jack of Breaux Bridge, LA; three granddaughters, Kenzlee, Kyland, and Mulani; one grandson, Kristian; four brothers, Roland "Wayne" Sophus (Sandra), Donald "Deno" Sophus (Anita), Marcus "Pokey" Sophus (Lakeshea) all of New Iberia, LA, and Bishop Darren M. Sophus, Sr. (Ernestine) of Youngsville, LA; two sisters, Winifred Lewis Bell (Walter), and Beverly Sophus Jolivet (Rev. Emile Jolivet), both of New Iberia, LA; godchildren, Simon, Marlaysha, Braylee, Jabryson, Russell, Ashanti, Michael Sr., Joann; favorite niece, Erica Keller; two best friends, Kim Provost and Charlene Landry; host of other relatives and friends.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Ronald Lynn Sophus, Jr.; one sister, Wanda Sophus Polk; one son, Oshaun Smith; one niece, Tracey Sophus Lewis; best friend, Dianna Miller; maternal grandparents, Sanford and Louvenia Lewis; paternal grandparents, Howard and Hilda Sophus.
