A Celebration of Life for Christopher Marshall, Sr., will be held Friday, October 18, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, LA.

Visitation will be Friday, October 18, 2024, from 1:00 PM until the commencement of the celebration at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, LA.

Christopher will be interred at Nazarene Cemetery in Verdunville, LA.

Christopher Andre Marshall, Sr., a resident of New Orleans, LA passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024. He was 59 years old.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, one daughter, Ashley Marshall of New Orleans, LA; three sons, Jonathan Gillard of Dallas, TX, Christopher (Tekyeh) Marshall, Jr. of New Iberia, LA, and DeAndre Marshall of St. Martinville, LA; seven grandchildren, Karsyn, Cash, and Cain Marshall of New Iberia, LA, and Amani, Kaliyah, Caiden, and Nayeli Gillard of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Juanita (Michael) Hall, of Carencro, LA and Delma Marshall of New Iberia, LA; four brothers, Leonard (Lisa) Marshall, Jr. of Jackson, NJ, Kenneth (Pam) Marshall of New Iberia, LA, Byron Marshall of Franklin, LA, and Shawn (Ginger) Marshall of Denham Springs, LA; his cherished partner in life, Trinette Joseph of New Orleans, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nellie Selena Gray Marshall and Leonard Allen Marshall, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Webster Gray and Elma Mandubourg; paternal grandparents, Isiah Marshall and Juanita Robertson.
