Clarence will be interred at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Jeanerette, Louisiana.(Four Corners Area).
Clarence Jackson, Sr. "Clay", "Jack" "Action Jackson" was born April 11, 1940 in Four Corners, Louisiana to the union of Aruthur Jackson and Cora Jackson.
Clarence retired at the age of 62. He worked at the sugar mill, service marine and bollinger. He was active in the church, a deacon, church bus driver, a sunday school teacher, and the leader of trail blazer. He was the custodian of the church until his health failed.
Clarence accepted Christ at a young age under pastorship of the late Reverend Aaron Marks.
Clarence leaves to cherish his precious memories, his daughters: Mahalia Levine (Travis), Sorrell, La; Linda Richardson (Michael), Debra Moore (Solomon) Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Pamela Jackson of Baton Rouge, La, two sons: Clarence (CJ) Jackson, Jr. (Darlene), Melvin Jackson, (Felloman) Four Corners, La, eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and two honorary grandchildren; his brothers; Isaac Jackson, (Annie), Eric Jackson, and Troy Johnson; sisters; Alma Stacy and Mae Hall step mother: Joann Jackson, son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, granddaughter-in-law; and a host of aunts and uncles, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws; relatives and friends.
Clarence was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean Jackson, his son Kevin Jackson, paternal parents; maternal parents, mother-in-law, father-in-law, stepdad, step-father-in-law, three brothers, and five sisters.
