A Celebration of Life for Clarence Johnson, Jr., will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026, 2:00 PM at Triumph Baptist Church, Franklin, LA . Pastor Carl F Lewis will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until the commencement of the celebration at Triumph Baptist Church, Franklin, LA.

Clarence will be interred at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Baldwin, LA.

Clarence Johnson, Jr., born on January 10, 1935, to the late Clarence Johnson, Sr. and Selena Colbert Johnson, Clarence was the eldest of five children. From an early age, he displayed the strength, character, and determination that would define his life and leave a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

Clarence was a giant among men—tall, slim, and known for his smooth walk, warm smile, and unforgettable presence. He possessed a quiet confidence and a spirit that naturally drew people to him.

In his younger years, Clarence studied carpentry, a trade that showcased both his talent and strong work ethic. Blessed with gifted hands and a creative mind, he could build and repair many things. Family was the heart of Clarence's life. He deeply loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Johnson, Sr. and Selena Colbert Johnson; beloved wife, Stella Sykes Johnson; daughter, Raylene James; son, Barry Johnson Sr.; sister, Eloise Johnson Foulcard; brother, Matthew Johnson,Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Felton Johnson (Lucille) and Glenn Johnson; children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
