Clifford “Tippy” Jackson

A Celebration of Life for Clifford "Tippy" Jackson, will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Clifford "Tippy" Jackson, the son of the late Dolophy Sr. and Geneva Fontenot- Jackson, was born on March 24, 1952, at Katy LA. He accepted Christ at an early age, under the late Rev. C. E. Baptiste at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Katy. He loved singing gospel songs, fishing, and hunting. Clifford was a loving father, brother, and friend with warm compassion towards anyone he crossed paths with.

He answered the Master's call to glory on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 9:31 PM at Lafayette General Hospital.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Jalisa Johnson and Daisyah Spain; three sisters, Effie Jackson Harris, Jeanna Davis Jackson, and Ernestine Jackson; three brothers, Rev. Dr. Willie Jackson, Sr., Dolophy Jackson, Jr., and John "Breeze" Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his memories five daughters, Kasha Johnson, Lasaundra Monique Johnson, Lasheika Harris, Virginia (Donovan) Briscoe, and Amber Spain; three sons, Ron Devon (Shazae) Lewis, Barron Keith Harris, and Jamichael Hudson; four sisters, Generva Ross, Shirley Green, Janice Jackson, Caroline Jackson; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, 10 special friends; host of friends and family.
