Clyde Gash

A Celebration of Life for Clyde Gash, will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Clyde will be interred at Franklin Cemetery in Franklin, LA.

Clyde Gash was born July 31, 1948 to the late Rev. Joseph Gash, Jr. and Regina Gash of Oxford, Louisiana. Clyde was baptized at an early age by the late Pastor Merritt. Clyde was reared in the Oxford Community.

Clyde was employed with Normco, Breaux Farms and Jimmy Ducote.

Clyde attended school in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana.

He enjoyed cruising on his bike through Franklin and smoking his pipe.

He leaves to cherish his memories one brother; Rayfield Gash,of North Carolina; one godchild and caregiver for many years, Ernestine Bolden of Houston, Texas; one caregiver and niece, Vanessa (Lawrence) Charles of Four Corners, Louisiana; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends, who all loved Clyde.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Joseph and Regina Gash; one sister, Maggie Gash Stansbury; three brothers, Isiah, David, and Clarence Gash; maternal and paternal grandparents.
