A Mass of Christian Burial for Connie Thomas will be held Friday, September 18, 2020, 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Baldwin, LA.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at MK Dixon Funeral Home and resume Friday, September 18, 2020, from 9:00 AM-10:30 AM at MK Dixon Funeral Home.

She will be interred in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery, Baldwin, LA.

The late Connie Thomas was born on the 29 ^th of November, 1960, in Lafayette, Louisiana to Audrey Mae Rideaux Pickney and William Charles Pickney, Sr.

Connie was affable, kindhearted, approachable, eloquent, and above all, God-fearing. During her lifetime she worked as a cook, which was her favorite pastime. She later retired to become a full-time grandmother and caregiver. With her passion for cooking, she operated her very own snowball stand. She spent her last years traveling with her children and grandchildren. She was a central figure at the heart of her family and will be truly and deeply missed.

Connie is survived by her husband, Henry Thomas Sr.; her children, Henry Thomas Jr., Cynthia Weber (James Weber Sr.), and Tessa Thomas; her grandchildren, Armoni Ledet, Henry Thomas III, James Weber Jr., Tiana Thomas, Kaleb Thomas, Damien Little Jr, Jordan Weber, Royce Thomas, Bryant Malveaux III, Reece Thomas, Brycen Malveaux, and Henley Thomas; her siblings, Carla Ezell (John Ezell), Amy "Faye" Durley (Kenny Durley), William "Charles" Pickney (Sharon Pickney), and Anthony Pickney.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Mae Rideaux Pickney and her father, William Charles Pickney, Sr.
