A Celebration of Life for Coreyonna Renthrope will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026, 11:00 AM at MK Dixon Funeral Home, Baldwin, LA .

Visitation will be Saturday, May 23, 2026, 9:00 AM -11:00 AM at MK Dixon Funeral Home

Coreyonna will be interred in Special Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

On May 6, 2026, God sent his angel to deliver, Coreyonna Shanea' Renthrope to her resting place. Coreyonna Renthrope was born on August 10, 2001, to Shawanda McBride and Corey Renthrope in Franklin, Louisiana. At an early age, Coreyonna accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She attended West St. Mary High School and graduated in 2020.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her two daughters, Dy'niah Renthrope and Jakaizlan Renthrope of Baldwin, Louisiana; grandparents, Angela Alexander of Baldwin, Louisiana, Marion Poullard of Baldwin, Louisiana, and Gail Renthrope of Morgan City, Louisiana; one aunt, Makia Renthrope; two uncles, Demarcus McBride and Broderick McBride (Shalica); two sisters, Camry McBride and Delilah Renthrope; five brothers, Cameron McBride of Baldwin, Louisiana, Keithen Johnson, Kaden Henry, Ja'Corey Renthrope, and Edwin Winding, all of Morgan City, Louisiana; one bonus brother, Courtland Phillips; one bonus grandmother, Wendy Molo; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by two uncles, Terran Renthrope and Dewallen Colbert; paternal and maternal grandparents, Malcolm Edmond, Rodney Poullard, Francis Wilson, Wilson Alexander, Clarence McBride, Sr., Albert Ward, and Geraldine; one cousin, Ebony McBride. 

Coreyonna lived a colorful life brimming with love, kindness, and joy. Her presence touched countless hearts, and she will be profoundly missed. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
