A Celebration of Life for Dallas Lewis, Sr., will be celebrated Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 1:00 PM at St. Moses Baptist Church in Jeanerette, LA, Rev. Carl F. Lewis, officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at St. Moses Baptist Church in Jeanerette, LA.

Dallas will be interred at Sorrel Community Cemetery in Sorrel, LA.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son; Dallas Cortez Lewis, Jr. of New Iberia, LA; mother, Ursula Meosha Lewis of New Iberia, LA; brother, Tyren Gabriel of New Iberia, LA; two sisters, Gabrielle Lewis of Port Arthur, TX, and Paris Guy of New Iberia, LA; grandmother, Carla Lewis of Port Arthur, TX; aunt, Destinie Lewis of Youngsville, LA; great grandmother, Anna Rhine Teno of Sorrell, LA; godparents, Dr. Anna Hill and Brandi Hill of Cypress, TX; two god siblings, Collin and Ari Hill of Cypress, TX; three great uncles, Zechariah Sheryashub (Saliah), Arthur Lee Lewis both of Port Arthur, TX and James C. Lewis of Sorrell, LA; two great aunts, Tricia Rhine-Randle (Lonnie) of LaPlace, LA and Dr. Anna Hill of Cypress, TX; great-great aunt, Viola Rhine of Sorrell, LA; mother of his child, Jazz' lyn Fusielier; and a host of special family and friends.

Dallas was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Ulysses Teno Sr.;  aunt, Marla Moore.
