A Celebration of Life for Darren Holmes, will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin , LA.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin , LA.

Darren will be interred at Special Providence Cemetery in Baldwin, LA.

Darren passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Legacy Nursing Home. Darren attended G.W. Hamilton Elementary and Franklin High School.

He received Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

Darren leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Northa Lee Holmes of Franklin, LA; one son, Lawrence Lefleur of Texas; siblings, Marilyn (Darrell) Smith of Baldwin, LA, Quenton (Janice) Holmes of Texas, and Dolnald Holmes of Baldwin, LA; host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Holmes, Sr.; brother, Thomas Holmes, Jr.; sisters, Gwendolyn Weber and Brenda Martin; grandmother, Ethel Lancelin; grandfather, Roosevelt Collins; uncle, Theo Collins, Sr.
