A Celebration of Life for Deveri Peters will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church in New Iberia, Louisiana. Mask will be required.
Deveri is a 2011 graduate of Franklin Sr. High School and later attended Collin College in McKinney, TX. In 2013, Deveri and her high school sweetheart, Scott Jerel Marshall, gave birth to the apple of their eyes, Khiyli' Aurielle Marshall. Deveri was formerly employed at Patterson Police Department as a communications officer and was currently employed at St. Mary Parish School Board as the instructor/choreographer for the Golden Dolls of Franklin Sr. High School, where she served as captain during high school.
Deveri will be remembered for her love of life, her child and family, and her very blunt and outspoken personality. She was the life of the party wherever she went. Deveri lived her life unapologetically!
