Dianna Delasbour

A Celebration of Life for Dianna Delasbour, will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, La.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 12:30 P.M. until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, La.

Dianna will be interred at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Baldwin, La.

On Saturday, April 29, 2023, our Precious Dianna gained her wings for Heaven.  Dianna as she was affectionately called was the third child born to the union of the late Viola Alexander and Roger Delasbour, Sr.   Dianna was reared under the loving care of her grandparents, the late Anna Johnson and Eugene Delasbour, Sr. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a happy, fun, full of laughter, and joyful person. She was always willing to give advice from the lessons that she learned along her journey in life. She was a fearless protector of her children and grandchildren. She brought love to all those she met. She will be greatly missed.  She was a hard worker and had numerous jobs throughout her life time. She was employed by McDermott, St. Mary Parish, Pizza Hut, Franklin Supermarket and Dollar General.  She also lived many years in Waco, TX where friends became like family.

Dianna was married to the late Oscar Morris Charles. She leaves to cherish her memories; two children; Dennis Matthew Delasbour and Deanna Charles of Franklin, La; three grandsons, Devin Enrique Gonzales, TraVon Dickerson, DeEdric Robinson; two brothers, Lawrence Delasbour (Kitty) of Houston, TX and Roger Delasbour, Jr. of Franklin, La; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and relatives.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Viola Alexander Delasbour, Roger Delasbour, Sr.; two sisters, Louise Alexander Weston and Barbara Jean Delasbour; grandparents, Anna Johnson, Eugene Delasbour, Sr. and Florence Calhoun and Herbert Alexander.
