A Celebration of Life for Dominick "Slab" Richard, will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Triumph Baptist Church in Franklin, LA.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at Triumph Baptist Church in Franklin, LA.
Dominick will be interred at Pecot St. Cemetery in Franklin, LA.
Dominick "Slab" Richard was born on Sept. 28,1980, to the late Rose Marie Richard- Morris and Rufus Morris in Franklin, LA. He was the oldest of his two brothers. He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age.
Dominick attended Franklin Senior High but further his education in Monroe, Louisiana. He was employed by MAKO Industries in Broussard, LA for numerous of years.He was later employed with Gulf Island in Houma LA, until his demise. Dominick earned his title as the "Mr. Hard Hat Hustler!"
He had a vibe that was unmatched and always genuine.
He now joins in glory those that preceded him in death his mother; maternal grandparents; Ola Mae Richard and Emile Richard; maternal great grandparents, Odelia Colbert Johnson, and Henry Johnson, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Doris and Charles Morris, Sr.; paternal great grandparent, Lula Mae Dixon and Rufus Morris.
