A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2017, 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Baldwin, LA. Fr. Sonnier will celebrate the mass.
Viewing will be Saturday, January 21, 2017, from 8:00 AM until the commencement of the mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
He will be interred in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church cemetery.
Donald Joseph Rideaux, 63, a native of Jeanerette, LA and a resident of Baldwin, LA was born on February 13, 1953 to the late Louis Rideaux, Sr. and Rosette Johnson Rideaux.
Donald was called home on January 18, 2017.
Donald attended St. Joseph Catholic School in Jeanerette, LA.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Judy Armelin Rideaux, one daughter Shira Rideaux, one step-son Douglas Caesar, Jr. all of Baldwin, LA; one niece that he raised for ten years, Ashley Spain, Lake Charles, LA; two brothers-in-law, Wayne Armelin, Jeanerette, LA, Anthony Armelin, New Iberia, LA; five brothers, Louis (Peggy) Rideaux, Jeanerette, LA, Ernest (Annie Bell) Rideaux, Alexandria, LA, Thomas Rideaux, Sr., New Iberia, LA, Bernard (Dianna) Rideaux, New Iberia, LA, Anthony Rideaux, Lafayette, LA; three sisters, Gloria Berry, Baton Rouge, LA, Irma (Robert) Mitchell, Sr., New Iberia, LA; Aritha Rideaux, Lafayette, LA, three grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, a granddaughter, two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
He had six special friends, Douglas Caesar, Sr., Stanley Clay, Melvin Willis, Sr., Troy Caesar, Alvin Terrebonne and Vincent Louviere.
