A Celebration of Life for Doris Notto will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, La.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, La.
Doris will be interred at Special Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Baldwin, La.
Doris W. Notto, was born on November 27, 1953, to the late Mr. Henry Watson, Sr. and Mrs. Lessie Watson. She was baptized at an early age the late Rev. Johnny Carr, Sr. She was a member of the Crossing Place Fellowship in Franklin, La. Ms. Doris was a woman of God and loved on everyone. She had a mild and meek personality. She loved to shop and purchase elegant attire.
She was a 1971 graduate of Franklin High School, after graduation she attended Grambling State University and graduated from Eastern Medical College. She worked at the American Red Cross in Little Rock, Arkansas from 2003 to 2013. Ms. Doris moved back to Baldwin, La in 2013 to take care of her elderly father.
Ms. Doris life, legacy and precious memories will always remain in the hearts of her children; Pervis Jackson of Sorrel, La, Joshua Jackson of Lafayette, La; four brothers, Henry Watson, Jr., of Palo Alto, CA, Frank Watson of Kansas City, KS; four sisters, Mary(Charles) Brockett of Stone Mountain, GA, Joyce (Willie) Rattler of Plano, TX, Patty Bolden of New Iberia, La, and Barbara Watson of Lake Charles, La.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lessie Watson, and father Henry Watson, Sr. and one sister, Thelma Johnson.
