Dorothy Ann Calais Williams was born January 27, 1951 to the late Louanna Broussard Calais and Arthur Calais. She was the fifth of eight children. She entered eternal rest unexpectedly on March 28, 2026.

Dorothy, known affectionately as “Mom-met,", devoted her life to her home and family, embracing her role as a homemaker with love and quiet grace. Dorothy had a deep appreciation for people and cherished every moment spent with family and friends.

She spent many years caring for the home of the Dupuis family, a role she carried out with dedication and pride. She later worked at Guidry’s catfish for countless years, where she was known for her strong work ethic and kind, gentle spirit.

She made many life-long friends throughout her life, and never met a stranger. Dorothy’s character and the lasting impact she left on everyone around her will remain a blessing to those who knew her and a reflection of love she shared so freely
