Dorothy Babino Youman

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016, 1:00 PM, Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 104 Tenth Street, Baldwin, LA for Mrs. Dorothy Babino Youman. She will be interred in Greater New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Emile Jolivette, Pastor will officiate the service.

Viewing will be Saturday, February 13, 2016, 10:00 AM until the time of service at Greater New Home Baptist Church.

A native and resident of Baldwin, Dorothy earthly journey ended on February 8, 2016, at 1:30 AM at Iberia Medical Center/LTEC division in New Iberia, LA. Left to celebrate her life are her children: two daughters, Alziner Harris, Orange, TX, Telfare (Steven) Gibson, Franklin, LA; three sons, Joseph Youman, Baldwin, LA, Telpher (Noweedia) Youman, Jr., Sunset, LA, Brandon (Shelly) Schexnayder, Franklin, LA; 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, Godchildren, relatives and friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Telpher Youman, Sr., one son, Larry Johnson parents, Henry and Emily Babino, sister, Elizabeth Pete, niece, Emily Phillips, and two great grandchildren.
