A Celebration of Life for Douglas Keal, Jr., will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 1:00 PM until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Douglas will be interred at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery in Charenton, LA.

Douglas was a very kind and giving person, willing to help others in time of need. Those of us who were close to him knew of his love for Jesus Christ and he accepted him as his Lord and savior. As Christians, we are reminded that we are not to mourn as the world does, for the scripture tells us, there is no sickness in heaven, only true peace, love, and joy. Douglas will truly be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories; one brother, Allen Keal; one sister, Hilda Keal Jackson; one uncle, Junius Arceneaux; one aunt, Doris Keal; four nephews, Marcus Ladet, Leslie Jackson, Christopher Keal, & Ivyonta James; three nieces, Amanda George (Jeffrey George) Ashley Williams, Christa Keal; a host of other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents; Douglas Keal, Sr. and Idella Arceneaux Keal; two sisters, Lorraine and Sandra Keal; one brother, Ralph Keal.
