Durall Derone Alexander, Sr. born July 30, 1978 , was the first son born to the union of Cynthia Rener and Fredrick Alexander.  He, along with his siblings, DeKisha, Cedrick, Derian and Fredrick enjoyed a full and happy life in Jeanerette, Louisiana.

He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Jeanerette, LA attending Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and other church activities.

He was a graduate of Franklin Sr. High School and attended Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Mississippi.  Durall's employment history included Twin Brothers and St. Mary Parish School Board; he also helped coach the football team at Franklin Jr. and Sr. High.

Durall married the love of his life, Takella Roberson, and together they made a home in Franklin, LA for eight children; seven boys and one girl. 'Tat' as he was known to everybody, loved his family and enjoyed cooking for them as well as for his neighbors and friends … gathering much of his food from his own private garden. In his community he was jokingly considered 'the Mayor of James St.

'Tat's jovial personality was his super-power! He encountered nearly everybody with a hearty laugh and fun conversation.  Durall's free spirit was welcoming and made everyone feel comfortable.  His love for football made him an avid  Eagles fan.  'Tat' was truly a people person and met everyone with a smile.

On January 12, 2022, Durall 'Tat' Alexander, Sr., departed this life and entered eternal peace.  He now joins his father, Fredrick Alexander; his maternal grandparents, Harold and Odessa Rener;  and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Gloria Alexander.

He leaves to mourn his passing, as well as cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Takella Roberson Alexander, sons, Jarmontay Roberson, Tevin Harris,  Dontrell Charles,  Trevontay Kelly, Laquint Roberson, Jaylon Roberson, and Durall Alexander, Jr.; two daughter Aria Alexander and Taja Jack; his mother, Cynthia Rener Alexander; one sister, Dekisha Alexander Francis (Nicholas), Cedrick Alexander (Alexis), Darian Alexander (Debra) Fredrick Alexander (Alicia), Reginald Whitehead (Nikki) and Clifford Carter.
