A Celebration of Life for Dwain Paul, will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.

Dwain will be interred at New Salem Cemetery in Patterson, LA.

On Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 9:30 PM, one we loved so very much went on to be with Lord. Dwain was born on Oct. 27, 1967, to Betty and Wilmer Paul.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army and retired after 5 years. He was a very kind and giving man. He loved the Lord. He loved talking to people about the Word of God. He loved to shop. He assist with Children Miracle Network. He was an expert at writing grants. He also had a non-profit organization named "Daily Reminder." He also was a minister of the Gospel. His educational background included: Bachelor Degree in Theology at Harold Washington College, General Studies at Southern Community College and Bachelor of Science with a Major in Business Administration at Trinity College and University.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Monica Howard Paul of Lafayette, LA; mother and father; Betty (Wilmer) Paul of Lafayette, LA; two sisters, Shelia Marie Paul of Lafayette, LA, Tara (Derek) Mickens of Houma, LA; brothers, Daniel Anthony Paul of Baton Rouge, LA, Carmicheal (Chasity) Paul of Patterson, LA, Damon Lee (Jasmine) Paul of Baton Rouge, LA; mother-in-law, Mary Joyce Howard; brother-in-law, Keenze Howard; sisters- in- law, Karen Howard of Franklin, LA, Stacy Yost of Houston, TX; godmother, Carol Lynn Jones; godfather, Larry Jones both of Patterson, LA; godchildren, Jalon Paul, Jarell Collie, Quinton McCormick; host of family and friends.

Dwain was preceded in death by his brother; Timothy Paul; grandfather, Edward Jenning; grandmother, Tishea Jenning.
