A Celebration of Life for Emile “Black Boy” Jack, will be held Friday, July 3, 2026, 11:00 AM at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin, LA. Supt. Donald Lanceslin will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Friday, July 3, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin, LA.
Emile will be interred at Special Providence Baptist Cemetery in Baldwin, LA.
Emile “Black Boy” Jack, Jr. was born January 15, 1946, to the late Emile Jack, Sr., and Phileman Marsh of Ashton, LA.On March 27, 1967, Emile was united in holy matrimony to his late wife Catherine “Kitty” Baker Jack, to this union three children were born.Emile entered eternal rest on June 19, 2026 at 11:05 AM.
Emile leaves to cherish his memories one son, Emile Jack, III, of Baldwin, LA; two daughters, Avis (Bobby) Nico of Baldwin, LA, and Ruth Jack of New Iberia LA; three grandchildren, Jonah (Natalie) Jack of Lafayette, LA, Cameron Jack of Jeanerette LA, and Sha’Breana Richardson of Lafayette, LA; nine great grandchildren; very special companion, Shantell Shields; four sisters, Mary Burden and Bertha Jack both of Ashton, LA, Celina (Clifford) Johnson of Four Corners, LA, and Alma Jack of Baldwin, LA; four brothers, Johnny Jack of Memphis, TN, Hilton, and Gaberial Jack both of Franklin, LA, and Herman Jack of Ashton, LA; two devoted sisters-in-law, Audrey Baker and Suzzette Colbert Jack, both of Baldwin, LA; a special devoted cousin, Flora Mae Thomas of Baldwin, LA; forever son-in-law, Jimmy Gibson; bonus daughter, Chaquilla “Qui” Coleman; two godchildren, Alexis Bowser, and Joann Marsh; very devoted friend, Henry Jones; a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine "Kitty" Jack; parents, Emile Jack,Sr. and Phileman Jack; three sisters, Anna Jack, Victoria Tillman, and Lula Jack; one brother, Ray Jack.
