Emma Dell Gibson

A Celebration of Life for Emma "Mame" Gibson, will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin, La.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. until the commencement of the celebration at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin, La.

Emma will be interred at Special Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Baldwin, La.

Emma"Mame" Gibson was born on January 12, 1956, to the late Emma Dell Gibson Johnson and Dudley Gabriel in Franklin,La. Emma was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother. She was loved by everyone who encountered her. God decided he needed a beautiful flower for his garden and called her name and she answered the call. Emma's departure left a void in our hearts and we will truly miss the beautiful smile.

She is survived by her children Sharice Gibson, Torry Gibson, and Jessie(Lisa) Gibson; grandchildren, Shatanica and Shane Gibson, Stephon Fuselier; siblings, Henry Johnson, Ethel(Stanley) Clay, James(Tammy)Johnson, Evans(Brenda)Gibson, Michael(Joyce)Johnson, Connie Moore, Anthony Gibson, Darryl(Felicia)Gibson, Elease Jackson, Stacy Gibson,  Craig(Veronica) Gabriel, Lloyd Gabriel, Constance Gabriel; aunts, Mercedes Gibson, Mable Williams, Delores Gibson, Audrey Gibson; friends, Mary Ceasar, Sheila Persilver, Veronica Simpson; godchildren, Johanna Caesar, Lakresha Lockette, Shateka Johnson, Jason Colar Jr, Kalen Skipper, Layce Gibson, Riley Bellard; and a host of family and friends that loved and will miss her.

Emma was proceeded in death by her parents; grandparents, Clarence and Emma Gibson, and a host of other family.

Pallbearers will be Landon, Jordyn, Evans, Scottie, Jamaion, Rondon, Kerry, Mallory.
