Ernestine Vivian Bob Tillman

Funeral Service for Ernestine Vivian Bob-Tillman will be held Saturday, March 14, 2020, 11:30 AM at Macedonia Baptist Church, Ashton, LA. Pastor Ulysses Mitchell will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 14, 2020, 9:00-11:30 AM at Macedonia Baptist  Church.

Mrs. Tillman will be interred in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ernestine Vivian Bob Tillman, lovingly known as Vivian, was born December 16, 1935 in Baldwin, Louisiana to the late Joseph Bob Sr. and Zelido Brown Bob. She was educated in the St. Mary Parish School system. She was baptized at an early age at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baldwin, Louisiana. Later in life, she joined Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Ulysses Mitchell where she served faithfully on the Usher's Board until her health started to decline.

In the early morning hours of March 8, 2020, God called his precious angel home. Vivian or "Momo V", as she was affectionally called, was the matriarch of her family and will be sorely missed. Left to cherish her fond memories are; seven children, 22 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. One sister, Rose Mary Tillman of Houston, Texas, three god children; Lois Ann Tillman, Harry Dewayne Johnson, Charla Baptiste-Rivers, one honorary daughter, Renelle Freeman, one honorary son, Alvin August; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 46 years, two sons, three grandchildren; Tomiko Jack, Shelley Tillman, Albert Davis Jr., one great grandchild; Kendra Robertson, four brothers; Lawrence Bob, Henry Bob, Joseph Bob, Thomas Bob, two sisters; Lavanna Bob Edmond and Verna Mae Bob Collins.
