Felix "Flex" Richard, Jr. was born on July 13, 1979, in Lafayette, LA, to the late Felix Richard, Sr. and the late Judith Tardy Richard. His earthly journey ended on August 23, 2024.
Felix was a legend in his own right. He was well known by many for his fun-loving personality; the ability to tell jokes that made you laugh, and he told stories that kept you puzzled. Even though he was talkative; he was also a man of few words, one of his signature responses was "Huh Bruh." Felix was a hustler, and he knew how to make ends meet to provide for his family. Felix was a "jack of all trades." He was a chef, the family barber, a roofer, and a painter. He was dedicated employer of Napier Sheet Metal.
Felix leaves to cherish his memory his son, Kaden (KD); daughters, Faith Richard, whom he loved dearly; three bonus children, Cierra and Patience Loston, Ja'Quan Verrett, a loving companion; two stepmothers, Molly Falls Richard and Crystal Richard; godparents, Ida Phillips and Floyd Day; three special aunts, Janet Richard, Shirley Richard, and Gloria Richard; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Felix was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents, Alton Tardy, Jr. and Cecile C. Tardy; paternal grandparents, Abraham Richard, Sr., and Joyce Gilbert Richard; stepdaughter, Shalante Verrett.
