Felton Jones, Sr.

Funeral Service for Felton Jones, Sr., will be Sunday, February 23, 2020, 6:00 PM at MK Dixon Funeral Home. Rev. Carl Lewis will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 23, 2020, from 4:00 PM until the time of service at MK Dixon Funeral Home.

Dismissal will be Monday, February 24, 2020, 11:00 AM at Special Providence Baptist Church Cemetery

Felton Jones, Sr. was born on March 22, 1928, in Baldwin, LA to the late John and Louisa "Ma Pink" Marks Jones.

He passed away on February 11, 2020 at Iberia Medical Center, New Iberia, LA. He was 91 years old.

Felton was employed by Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, he retired after 28 years of service. He was married to the late Marguerite Jones.

Left to cherish his memories is one son; Glenn (Myrtistene) Wilson of Alexandria, VA., two daughters; Iris Boyer (Anthony Colar) of Baldwin, LA, Ashley Lewis of St. Martinville, LA, two daughters-in-law; Jacqueline J. Sterling of New Iberia, LA, and Valerie Wilson of Arlington, TX; one brother Henry Jones, 13 grandchildren; Japera, Keyoka, Torrianda, Octavia, Kristy, Tamika, Treshell (Chad), Tahj, LaShanti (Larry), Robert, Jr. (Ronell), Roshawn (Trinae), Shantay (Donald), Marqueline, 29 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Felton was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marguerite Jones, seven brothers, John Tousum, Wilbur, Arthur, George, Lionel, Walter, two sisters, Alice Colbert and Phyllis Neville.
