A Celebration of Life for Flora Mae Thomas, will be held Friday, July 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin, LA. Supt. Donald Lanceslin will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Friday, July 31, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin, LA.

Flora will be interred at Special Providence Baptist Cemetery in Baldwin, LA.

Flora Mae was born on October 21, 1936, in Ashton, Louisiana, to the late Ora Colbert Arceneaux and Emile Arceneaux, Sr: She was raised with strong values of faith, family, and compassion that remained the foundation of her life.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving children: Harry Thomas, Jr. (Barbara) of Houston, Texas; Adrienne Johnson (Ray) of Gray, Louisiana; Vanetta Thomas of Baldwin, Louisiana; and Henry Thomas of Baldwin, Louisiana. She was the proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren, the beloved great-grandmother of thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and the cherished great-great-grandmother of one great-great-grandchild, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ora Colbert Arceneaux and Emile Arceneaux, Sr.; her devoted husband, Harry J. Thomas, Sr.; her brothers, Emile Arceneaux, Jr. and Edward C. Arceneaux; her beloved son, Lynn Christopher Thomas; her daughter-in-law, Connie Thomas; and her grandson, Derrick Wise, Sr:
