A Memorial Service will be held for Freddie Burrell on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 11:00 A.M., at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, La.

The family will be begin receiving guest on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, La.

Freddie Burrell was born to the late Rev. Harry and Mable Boutte Burrell on November 15, 1942, in Franklin, La. He was reared at the Katy Plantation and grew up in a Christian home. He was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. John Harris Sr. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Katy.

Memories of Freddie will forever remain in the hearts of his children Fred Allen Burrell (Tracy) of Elgin, TX, Laura Burrell Sellers of Beaumont, TX, Angela McWilliams of San Francisco, Ca, and Freda Thomas of Baldwin, La;  grandchildren, Burnie J. Williams V., Freddie Burrell Thomas, Fred Allen Burrell, Nicholas Burrell, Chandlar Josey; two sisters, Mable Jean Burrell of Houston, TX and Laura Burrell of Orlando, FL; four brothers, George (Isabella) Burrell of Bossier City, La, James Burrell of Baldwin, La, Alvin (Sandra) Burrell of Franklin, La, and David Burrell of Houston, TX; two god children, Bridgette Williams and Telfare Gibson.

Freddie was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Lou Thomas; parents, Reverend Harry Burrell and Mable Burrell; six brothers, Lee (JC) Burrell, Morris Burrell, Horace (Lacy) Burrell, Robert Burrell, Harold (Sightless) Edwards and Carlton Burrell; a host of other relatives.
