Gladys Perro

Funeral Service for Gladys Perro will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018, 11:00 AM, at Triune COGIC, Franklin, LA. Supt Donald Lanceslin will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the funeral service at Triune COGIC.

She will be interred in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Charenton, LA.

Gladys Perro, 71, was born on October 6, 1946 to the late Rev Anthony Joshua , Sr. and Erma Jackson in Jeanerette, LA. She passed away on May 14, 2018.

Ms. Perro was educated in the St. Mary Parish School System. She later began her 30 + year career as a Cafeteria Tech. Ms. accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Macedonia COGIC. Later she joined Hines Memorial COGIC under the leadership of Supt Donald Lanceslin, where she served faithfully until he demise.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons; Terrell (Tana) Perro, Baldwin, LA, Ruben (Demetria) Perro, Jr., Lafayette, LA, Kerry (Zari) Perro, Brandon, Florida, six grandchildren, Loni, Ditamji, Tanasia, Britanie, Kayla, and Kirsten, one great granddaughter, Milan; two sisters, Irma Wesley, New Orleans, LA, Myrtle Randle, Houston, TX, five sisters-in-law, Rita Joshua, Houston, TX, Gwen Joshua, New Orleans, LA, Vivian Williams, Baldwin, LA , Laura Bell Joshua, Franklin, LA , Carolyn Joshua, CA, devoted friends, Irene Fuselier, Earnestine Dorsey, devoted niece and caretaker Debbie Brown, Austin, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rev Anthony Joshua, Sr. and Erma Jackson Joshua, seven brothers, Rivers Joshua, Chester Williams, Lawrence Joshua, Everett Joshua, Harold Williams, Anthony, Joshua, Jr. and Lionel Joshua, four sisters, Gloria Diggs, Shirley Shepherd, Emma Dell Stansbury, and Alma Jacko.
