Funeral Service for Harry Moses Seneca will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018, 12:00 Noon, at MK DIXON Funeral Home. Pastor Maurice Seneca will conduct the service.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 12, 2018, from 6:00-9:00 PM and resume on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the funeral service at MK DIXON Funeral Home.
Mr. Seneca will be interred in Sacred Heart Mausoleum with Military Honors.
Harry Moses Seneca, a resident of Baldwin, Louisiana passed peacefully from this life into the next on June 11, 2018 at 8:40 a.m. He was 81 years old. Harry was born on July 1, 1936 in Loreauville, Louisiana to Mr. & Mrs. Mitchell Seneca of Bayou Chene, Louisiana. He attended Loreauville High School and was a 1955 graduate of St. Martinville High School who served honorably in the U.S. Army. He worked over 40 years as a licensed Crew Boat Captain for several companies, retiring at the age of 72. His hobbies include woodworking, gardnening, all LSU Tiger sports and watching his two grandsons play football and baseball. He will be greatly missed by friends and family alike.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ida Naquin Seneca of Baldwin, Louisiana, one son, Maurice Paul Seneca and wife Shontel of Berwick, Louisiana along with two grandsons, Hunter and Hayden as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Mitchell Seneca and Lillian Diamond Seneca; four brothers, Roy, Russell, Leonard and Rodney Seneca; two sisters Carrie Seneca and Hilda Daigle.
