Henry Lee "Big Hank" Sutton

A Celebration of Life for Henry Lee Sutton Sr., affectionately known as "Big Hank" 65, will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020, 1:00 PM at St. Moses Baptist Church with Pastor Valerie Rhine officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 9:00 AM until the commencement of the celebration at St. Moses Baptist Church.

Mr. Sutton will be interred at Sorrel Community Cemetery.

Henry was a native and lifelong resident of Sorrel, LA. He passed away on Friday November 20, 2020 at his residence in Sorrel, LA at the age of 65.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Evelyn Lively Proctor Sutton, his three daughters Latricia Sutton Hurst of Four Corners, LA, Shanna Proctor Lyons (Quan) of Houston, TX, Golden Sutton (Dexter) of Jeanerette, LA, his three sons Stephen Lively (Josephine) of New Iberia, LA, Steven Proctor, and Henry Lee Sutton Jr. (Ebony) of Sorrel, LA, three sisters Ester Leonard, Mavolia ( Frederick) Phillips of Baldwin, LA, and Diane Sutton of Port Arthur, TX, and one brother Matthew Sutton Jr., of Four Corners, LA, his two special aunts Annie Mae Rhine who helped with his rearing and Viola Rhine of Sorrel, La,14 grandchildren Destiny, Kaidanse, Evan, Henry III, Skyler, Kylan, Taylor, Quan Jr, Leland, Kinsley, Kayonna, Cameron, Dylan, and Cason, four God children Timothy Jack, Kiristen Rideaux, Jamiyon Bolden, Meosha Phillips.

Mr. Sutton was preceded in death by his father Matthew Sutton Sr., his mother Florida Johnson Sutton, six sisters; Margaret Sutton, Gloria Sutton, Beulah Sutton, Josephine Sutton Jordan, Dorothy Sanders and Edna Sutton. Five brothers; Rev Frederick Rhine Sr., Clarence Sutton Sr., Lawrence Johnson Sr, Joseph Sutton, and Harold Sutton.
