Funeral Services for Horace Lacy Burrell will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017, 11:00 AM, Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 104 Tenth Street, Baldwin, LA. Elder Donald Lanceslin will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 26, 2017, from 8:00 AM until the commencement of the funeral service at Greater New Hope Baptist Church.
He will be interred in the church cemetery.
Lacy departed this life on April 18, 2017, to join his mother, father, and two brothers, Lee Harold (J.C.) and Morris Burrell and a daughter (Nikki) in eternal rest.
He leaves priceless cherished memories to his wife Barbara, sons: Lacy (Toria) Burrell of Carencro, Lyle (Charlesha) Burrell of Jeanerette; one daughter, Bethany Burrell of Franklin; six grandchildren: Jordan Deal, Landon Burrell, Kelsey August, and London Burrell, Nolan Dejean and Carley Provost; eight brothers; Harold (Marilyn) Edwards, Robert Burrell, Alvin (Sandra) Burrell, Carlton Burrell, of Franklin; George (Isabella) Burrell, of Bossier City; Freddie Burrell, James (Vivian) Burrell of Baldwin; and David Burrell of Beaumont, TX; three sisters: Mable Burrell of Houston,TX; Norma (Charles) Morgan Franklin, LA; and Laura Burrell of Orlando, FL; four god-children: Joni Brown, Chontel Morgan, Sandra Ledet, and Jason Dwyer; three brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
